About Me

Shawn Rinehart: I have always been interested in making stuff. It started with legos and play-doh, later it became oil paints, then the computer and now I am really heavy into photography. It is all the same to me...getting lost for hours in the creative process is where I am the most content. Kathy Blackmore, fellow artist and excellent Illustrator and teacher, once mentioned to me- "We are makers Shawn!" It is a simple and poignant statement. Whether playing music, helping my kids with school projects, designing curriculum, or creating art....it is about passionately making things that I am proud of and want to share.
